I went through my CD’s and came across this jewel, and decided to upload it for the many fans of Geologic aka Geo aka Prometheus Brown aka Pro Brown. Despite the confusion, ProBrown is Geologics “alter ego” per say, NOT a band like some would to believe. If you werent in the know, now you are.
Guhit Pinoy Comics is a group of Filipino graphic artists, founded in various fields of art (mostly international ad agencies) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I knew you weren’t expecting the group to be based out there. Let’s face it, not only do we export our nurses and engineers now-a-days, but they’re taking the creativity out of our land, too! But more on that later. Comic book writer and artist Jerry Alanguilan from the Philippines’ Komikero Komiks, says,
“…the love for illustration and komiks still burns in their spirit and they meet ocassionally to share their work, sketch and paint. And wow, collectively, their work is some of the best art I’ve seen done by Filipinos.”
